노인학대 방지 대책에 관한 연구

Abstract

The aged should be honored as a senior of the household, but in modern society the status of the aged is not only getting lowered, but also becoming an object of abuse. The objectives of this thesis is to understand seriousness of substance abuse of elder and to address it as a social issue and to provide multiple strategics that improve elder abuse. For this study, this thesis classifies elderly abuse, based on literature reviews, into types of a physical abuse, a verbal and emotional abuse, a financial exploitation, and a negligence and refusal of caring, and analyzes how these types are distributed in the cases. Also through this study, I made an efforts to find the national alternatives that prevent multiple problems to be in elder abuse. Furthermore, this research attempted to figure out how laws in relating to elder abuse in present repair and remake. Findings in this study result are as follows: First the acknowledge on seriousness of substance abuse of elder as social problems must be realized through national multiple efforts; for example, providing education program to public, and also through a publicity booklet. Secondly the expansion to notice system elder abuse through counselling on the phone must to be realized. To attain for this purpose the national positive efforts must to invest absolutely. Thirdly. it is necessary to legislate special laws for the elder abuse. Finally the expansion in elder age protective facilities is required rapidly. Elder ages are also the nation's important personal resource. Therefore the effective management to elder age could be an important social methods to improve the social welfare of the peoples. Analyzed from the method to prevent elder abuse, these findings imply that the government's intervention need absolutely to solve problems for the elder age's abuse
