基督敎 老人의 宗敎活動과 生活滿足度에 관한 硏究

Abstract
The elderly problem is one of the biggest issue in Korea these days. This cause many problems because of the rapid increasing of the elderly's population, and one of important problems is mental problem.
This study focused on life-quality of the elderly and could make the elderly think what is the best way to prepare for coming death and how well they could spend their rest of life. Therefore, this study learned how the Christian church activities affected the elderly's life-satisfaction.
The elderly who were Christian in the outskirt of Seoul were surveyed. The elderly who were Christian and over 60 were interviewed by some students who were majoring in Christianity and me and total 246 books were used for reference to analyze the result.
The main results of this study ate as follows:
First, the general background and religious activities of the Christian elderly were researched.
Second, life-satisfaction of the Christian elderly in considering their background were researched.
Finally, life-satisfaction of the Christian elderly in considering their religious activities were researched.
The result of this study showed that the religious activities of the Christian elderly was the most important factor to make their life-satisfaction better and the elderly who joined the religious activities with confidence of salvation were highly satisfied with their life.
From now on, Christianity is supposed to be in charge of doing something that the society couldn't do. Especially, Christianity should concern the elderly's desire, have regard ta someone who is shunned, and help them mentally and spiritually to spend their rest of life fruitfully for the social welfare.
