軍宗敎育을 위한 人格指導敎育의 實態와 그 改善方向 摸索에 관한 硏究
- Abstract
- This study is aimed at groping the effective amelioration direction of the Personality improvement Education based upon the servicemen's opinions concerning the actual condition of P.LE, the chaplin system and the Religous education for Military.
The statistical method of Chi-Square( x²) Test was applied to the handling the final result of the servey.
As a result, the following Inclusion was drawn :
First, while the private showed positiveness by having a high degree of response to the servey, other sevicemen showed a low degree of negativeness.
It show that the servicemen of lower ranks had a good military discipline it is said that the reason for the low degree of response in cludes the phenomenon of the lack of the teaching staff the military religion officer and the class society.
One military religion officer is posted and active at more than the unit of battalion in the army, one military religion office has the burden of making a tour instruction of the long-distance troop. Hence The number of military religion officer is considerably poor. Most military religion officers belonging to the unit of bettalion are newly appointed, and so they have an in sufficient knowledge and experience of their jobs. Thus condition for military religion officers should be improved.
Secondly, according to the provost marshal headquarters, the servicemen any religion have caused twice as fow accidents as those without any religion. Accordingly, the campaign for and-man-one-religion conld bring about the reduction of accidents through the propagation of religion to servicemen.
Thirdly, the servicemen are desperate to have a high degree of participation in religion not only at their private days but continually in the future.
For this purpose, it is indispensible to develop the content of education capable of receiving a high degree of participation and new and effective program.
Fourthly, not a few servicemen responded that it is very difficult to understand the current content of education and the content of education has a low level. Thus a need for the research cemter capable of developing teaching materials is required.
Fifthly, the deficient phenomenon of teaching materials and auxiliary materials for education happened Financial resources are needed to secure a number of auxiliary material for education and teaching material both scientific and up-to-date in keeping with the development of times.
Sixtly, it was shown that the military religion officer ranked top as the teaching staff, and especially it was understood that the servicemen without any religion prefer the military religious office. Accordingly, ince the servicemen without any religion are helped in their spiritual stability or problem-solving through religious education activity, it is necessary to expand for religious education for military.
Seventhly, to refer to the composition of the military religious officers in charge of military religion education, the number of the military religious officers consists of 272 Christians, 47 Catholics and 63 Buddhists, which totals 382 officers. It is disputation whether the number of military religious officers is reasonable.
As the direction of improving the current problem, it is desirable to increase the number of military religious officers through recruitment suitable to the actual situation and expand it to the optinial number while maintaining the present state of military religion education for its qualitation improvement for the present situation is that personnel assigned to the post of the military religious officer by each sects is considerably insufficient.
