國民學校 主任敎師에 대한 役割期待와 役割遂行의 差異點 摸索에 관한 硏究

Abstract
This study aimed to provide materials available for the desirable performance of the chairperson's role by grasping the actual condition of the expectation and performance of the chairperson's role. for this purpose, the questionraires distributed to the subjects and then withdrawn, were measured by means of t-test, analysis of varialbe(ANOVA) and x²-test.
As a result, the following conclusion was drawn.
Firstly, it was shown that the teachers' expectation of the chairperson's role in the elementary school was at a high level, and, in particular, the male teacher, vice-school master and schoolmaster were perceiving the importance of the chairperson's role highly. But it was shown that the chairpersons recognized their roles as limited themselves.
Secondly, as a result of analyzing the actual condition of the performance of the chairperson's role, it was revealed that the chairperson's themselves were performing their own roles to some degree in their own ways, but that the schoolmaster and vice-schoolmaster recognized the chairperson's role as low. Therefore, the chairpersons should make an endeavor to perform their roles.
Thirdly, both the schoolmaster and the vice-schoolmaster wanted the chaiperson to direct and advise teachers in all respects in relation to the chairperson's role advice and direction, but it was revealed that the chairperson and the comnmon teacher recognized relationship only as colleagues. Therefore the chairpersons should take an initiative in improving the quality of teachers by possessing special expertise through endless training with a view to performing their roles in advice and direction.
Fourthly, the chairperson should accurately provide both the schoolmaster and the vice-school master with information or data necessary for the operation of the school in relation with the performance of the chairperson's role, and lead their own roles in a consensual direction not unilateral direction so that the communication of schoolmaster's or vice-schoolmaster's instruction may be well carried out. the chairperson should be the active mediator of communication between them and teachers so that teachers' complaints or opinions can be transmitted to the vice-schoolmaster correctly.
Fifthly, the chairperson should coordinate the vice-schoolmaster's or schoolmaster's excessive expectation on his/her role in performing his/her role and make an endeavor to carry out his/her role flexibly on a harmonious basis on the intermediary position between the vice-schoolmaster or schoolmaster and the teacher side to get rid of the teacher's complaints of the top-down communication type of organizational climate.
