관쥬 신약전서의 국어학적 고찰

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to consider the describing method of this Bible and the characteristics in form laying stress on the Mark of '관쥬 신약젼' (the New Testament adding explanation which spelling is old one) which was published in 1937. This study will be made a stepping stone for the more profound learning. By comparing the describing method of this Bible expressed through the concrete examples of this Bible clause with the course of changes in Korean language history, the characteristics of the relevant describing method of this Bible and the differences between the describing method of this Bible and the change of Korean language were studied. When comparing the describing method on "Hangul Mach'umpop Tongiran" (The rules on Korean spelling unification) established in 1933 with this revised Bible, we can find that this one did not adapt to the change as compared with the other literature. This is caused by the conservation of this Bible records and the understanding of Christianity on the society of those days.
