- Abstract
- This study emphasizes quantitative analysis where the relationship of dependent and independent variables is tested from 1991-2020. After independence Bangladesh had to struggle with the poverty a lot, there after nation started to consider herself an agricultural-focused country but as the time demanded Bangladesh has switched its focus to industrialization emphasizing on clothing industry as this is commonly known that Bangladesh is a very densely populated country the labor force is their competitive advantage, yet female labor force has a negative impact on it exporting industry. On the other hand, Trade openness has opened the door for Bangladesh as this variable influences her economy to grow at a certain level. It is also to be mentioned that trade openness is growing in a gradual pattern. Thirdly, in the ’90s Bangladesh started emphasizing on clothing industry since then the most contribution to the export industry has remained ready-made garments. However, currently, the growth rate of ready-made garments is not crossing its previous mark therefore the contribution of the relationship remains constant. Lastly, the real interest rate of Bangladesh has remained almost constant though interest rates have a negative influence on export goods and services.
