- 영문초록 포함|Today the organizational circumstances are changing rapidly and an organization has to cope with the rapidly changing circumstances so that it can not only grow and develop continuously but also attain its object efficiently.
On this account, the majority of existing organizations have introduced team system in order to cope with these environmental changes. However, there is a problem facing the introduction of team system ; that is, how to decide the priority among the induction factors. Because the induction factors of team system are in the inseparable interrelationship, the weight estimate of each factor has a great influence on the result of team system.
Thus, this study presents effective standards of choice and a management plan on the basis of the evaluation of these induction factors and the result factors of team system. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a method of decision making based on multicriteria decision making, was used for scientific decision. As a process which can give consideration both to quantitative factors and to qualitative factors, AHP is a method to analyze the relative weight of and the relative preference for the scriteria of a problem of decision making based on multicriteria decision making by means of a pairwise comparision matrix.
The analyses of the induction factors and the performance factors were achieved through AHP.
As the result of the analyses, the priority of the induction factors of team system show high weight on the cultivation of men of talent and preparation for the period of experts, the conquest of the limitations of traditional bureaucratic organizations and the innovation of organizations in order.
The priority of the subcriteria of each criteria is as follows : First, the subcriteria of the conquest of the limitations of traditional bureaucratic organizations, show high weight on the delay of decision making, the enlargement of organizations and then the deficiency in flexibility of organizations. Second, the subcriteria of the innovation of organizations, how high weight on the diversification of customer's needs, the trend toward informationization and globalization and then the maturation of society. Third, the subcriteria of the cultivation of men of talent and preparation for the period of experts, show high weight on the efficient management of human resources, the change of profit sources, and then the increase in the role of experts.
As the synthetic result of the analyses taking into account both the relative weight of the induction factors of team system and the relative preference for each subcriteria, the priority is as follows : the efficient management of human resources, the change of profit sources, the delay of decision making, the increase in the role of experts, the diversification of customer's needs, the enlargement of organizations, the deficiency in flexibility of organizations, the trend toward informationization and globalization and the maturation of society.
The analysis of the performance factors gets the result that, the success factors show high weight on the participation of top managers and the leadership, the carefully thought-out preparation, the definition of the tasks by units of each team, the conversion of members' thought and the expert capability of members in order.
In the case of the failure factors, high weight is put on the lack of the participation of top managers or leadership, the unsatisfactory evaluation & reward system, the insufficient preparation, the indefinite tasks, the lack of members' readiness to receive, the lack of expert capability and the customary practices of hierarchy in order.
This study is expected to have effects as follows : First, it shows a model of the priority of various induction factors and a choice of factors according to the background of introduction to organizations willing to introduce team system. Second, it presents an effective plan for the operation of team system. It examines the performance factors of the introduction of team system by division into the success factors and the failure factors, so that it enables an organization to understand and manage each factor in advance. Third, AHP used as an analytic tool is expected to contribute to some effects. Analyzing a factor with multicriteria both separately and synthetically, AHP makes it possible to attain the object of an organization effectively. That is, taking into accounts qualitative factors as well as quantitative factors, AHP gives exactness to the estimation of performance and makes it possible to approach the application of weight more systematically in order to calculate the measured performance value inclusively. Besides, as AHP can be applied to any level of organizations, it can induce the experts' opinions and the participation of the evaluated and lead them to attain the object of an organization effectively. Finally, to the enterprise willing to actually introduce team system, this study shows how to solve the problems brought about in the course of operating team system or deciding various factors, and offers a methodology to devise a central plan for the successful performance of team system.
