Abstract
After World War II GATT-IMF system that aimed at the world trade expansion and equlibrium through free trade and stabilization of foreign exchange was destroyed.
There has been a growing tendency that neo-protectionism in the trade and the regionalism, setting the goal at applying regionally the principle of liberal non-distrimination, are steadily spreading.
The Purpose of this study is to direction the development of economic integration theory from developing region. In doing so I introduced two approaches. One is free trade approach, the other is protective approach.
In Chapter II , with the aid of customs union theory, I dealt with the theoretics of economic integration for developed countries.
But many theories of economic integration were evolved with the developed countries of Europe and expressly for the purpose of throwing light on the problems of economic integration in western Europe. Therefore, the theories of economic integration need to be modified for application to the circumstances of developing countries. It is because economic integration among developed countries want to achieve economic gains by improving resource allocation, but the case for developing countries emphasizes the industrialization and the promotion of economic development.
For this reason, I dealt with the theoretics of economic integration for developing countries in chapter III.
In chapter IV, the present condition of the economic integration in Westen Europe, Central-East American and Africa regions. In Chapter V, it is to find the economic characteristic of the developing countries and aimed at approaching the economic integration between the developing countries as well as a limitation of use of the general theory on the economic integration.

The results from the survey are summarized as following :
1) Having the traditional static approach and dynamic approach and by absorbing the economic integration theory between the developing countries, it should be generally complemented and systematized.
2) Regional industry and distribution and adjustment of the integration benefit must be dealt with.
3) A balanced growth and unbalanced growth must be harmonized.
4) Outward growth and inward growth should be effectively harmonized.
5) It should be considered for the partial integration as well as the overall integration.
6) A economic integration model attached great importance to the mutual benefits should be planned.
7) A positive harmonization in the outward economic policy should be made.
8) For any reorganization possibility in the benefit of economic integration according to the serious development gap between the regional countries, the mechanism for proper and concrete beneficial distribution should be established.
9) A complementary agreement for industries and inter-country agreement for regional based investments should be considered.
