기독교 창작무용 「보혈」에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study analyzes the Christian creative dance work, 「The Blood of Jesus」, which is themed on the blood of Jesus Christ. Suffering is a universal part of human life and an unavoidable reality for everyone. As we live, we encounter unexpected crises and difficulties, and such suffering destroys our plans and brings psychological anxiety and frustration. In the face of repeated crises of suffering, questions such as "Why does this only happen to me? What is the meaning of this suffering?" constantly arise, leading to confusion and despair. The researcher, standing before deep despair thrown into the midst of such suffering, asked herself how to overcome this suffering and quench her thirst. The suffering encountered in life was too great to bear, but eventually, in earnest prayer while calling upon the name of God, she heard a resonance in her heart saying, "You are my beloved child." This was a moment of deeply experiencing the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. This experience became a motivation to artistically express, through Christian creative dance, that the power of the blood can bring true freedom and restoration to people in suffering, beyond simply resolving emotions. The researcher humbly called upon the name of God and sought to explore the relationship between human suffering and the blood, and the value that the power of the blood gives to Christians. Through this, she intended to convey that the blood is God's love and grace and a message that supplies amazing power to Christians. Jesus Christ, through the blood shed on the cross, atoned for the sins of humanity and restored the broken relationship with God through His noble sacrifice. This can be said to be a channel of salvation through which God freely bestowed love and justice upon humanity, beyond a historical event. The power of the blood does not end with the forgiveness of sins and salvation. It also includes spiritual healing, peace, salvation that transcends death, and even the healing of physical diseases. This power not only transforms individual lives but also becomes a driving orce to renew communities and society. The blood of Jesus Christ is the warm breath of God's love for humanity, still living and active for Christians living today, beyond the past event of the cross. This study work, 「The Blood of Jesus」, was performed at Yangjae M Theater at 7:00 PM on November 18, 2024. In order to suggest the path of spiritual growth for Christians through the blood and to understand the value of the blood, the theoretical background was examined with a focus on literature research. The work consists of three chapters, each composed of the Tearing of Jesus, the Hope of the Cross, and the Power of the Blood. Chapter 1, "The Tearing of Jesus," expresses the suffering of believers who want to live the life of Jesus who died while looking at the blood, but struggle in pain and suffering. Chapter 2, "The Hope of the Cross," expresses the hope of praising the Lord with already confirmed love, determined to follow the path of Jesus, even though difficulties still exist in real life. Chapter 3, "The Power of the Blood," expresses that through the blood of Jesus Christ, one can overcome pain and despair and achieve complete victory. The researcher intended to show that the suffering given to Christians cannot be solved by human strength, and that it can only be overcome by the power of the blood that Jesus freely shed on the cross, and by presenting the power of the blood for atonement, human salvation, and healing through intuitive movements, she hoped that even those who have not yet met God could come a little closer to Him through Christian dance, and she expects that, through this, the kingdom of God will be expanded. |본 연구는 예수 그리스도의 보혈을 주제로 한 기독교 창작무용, 「보 혈」에 관한 작품 연구이다. 고난은 인간 삶의 보편적인 일부로 누구도 피할 수 없는 현실이다. 살아가면서 예상치 못한 위기와 어려움에 직면하게 되고 이러한 고난은 계획을 무너뜨리며 심리적 불안과 좌절을 안긴다. 반복되는 고 난의 위기 앞에서 ‘왜 이런 일이 나에게만 일어나는가? 이 고난의 의미는 무 엇인가?’와 같은 질문이 끊임없이 떠오르며 혼란과 절망에 빠지게 된다. 연구 자는 이러한 고난의 한가운데에 던져진 깊은 절망 앞에서 이 고난을 극복하 고 갈증을 해소하고자 자신에게 질문하였다. 삶에서 마주한 고난은 감당하기 어려울 만큼 컸으나 결국 간절한 기도 속에 하나님의 이름을 부르는 가운데 “너는 내 사랑하는 자녀란다”라는 마음속 울림을 듣게 되었다. 이는 예수 그 리스도의 보혈의 능력을 깊이 체험한 순간이었다. 이 체험은 단순한 감정의 해소를 넘어 기독교 창작무용을 통해 보혈의 능력이 고난 속의 인간에게 참 된 자유와 회복을 가져다줄 수 있음을 예술적으로 표현하는 동기가 되었다. 연구자는 하나님의 이름을 겸손히 부르며 인간의 고난과 보혈의 관계, 그리고 보혈의 능력이 그리스도인에게 주는 가치를 탐구하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 보 혈은 하나님의 사랑과 은혜이고 그리스도인에게 놀라운 능력을 공급하는 메 시지임을 전하려 하였다. 예수 그리스도께서는 십자가 위에서 흘리신 보혈의 피로 인류의 죄를 대속하셨고 하나님과의 단절된 관계를 회복시키신 고귀한 희생이다. 이는 역사적 사건을 넘어서 하나님께서 인간을 향해 사랑과 정의를 값없이 베푸신 구원의 통로라 할 수 있다. 보혈의 능력은 죄 사함과 구원에 그치지 않는다. 영적 치유와 평안 그리고 죽음을 초월한 구원, 육체적 질병의 치유까지 포함한다. 이 능력은 개인의 삶 을 변화시킬 뿐 아니라 공동체와 사회를 새롭게 하는 원동력이 되기도 한다. 예수 그리스도의 보혈은 과거의 십자가 사건을 뛰어넘어서 오늘을 살아가는 그리스도인들에게도 여전히 살아 역사하는 하나님의 인간을 향한 따뜻한 사 랑의 숨결이다. 본 연구 작품「보혈」은 2024년 11월 18일 PM 7:00 양재 M 극장에서 공연하였다. 보혈을 통한 그리스도인의 영적 성장의 길을 제시하고 보혈의 가 치를 이해하기 위하여 문헌 연구를 중점으로 이론적 배경을 살펴보았다. 작품 은 총 3장으로 구성하였으며 각 장은 예수님의 찢기심, 십자가의 소망 그리고 보혈의 능력으로 구성되어 있다. 1장 ‘예수님의 찢기심’은 보혈을 바라보며 돌아가신 예수님의 삶을 살아내 기 원하지만, 고난과 고통에 몸부림치는 신앙인들의 고난을 표현하였다. 2장 ‘십자가의 소망’에서는 현실의 삶에는 어려움이 여전히 있지만 예수님의 길을 따르리라는 마음을 이미 확증된 사랑으로 주님을 찬양하며 소망함을 표현하 였다. 3장 ‘보혈의 능력’에서는 예수 그리스도의 보혈로 아픔과 절망을 극복 하여 전적인 승리를 이룰 수 있음을 표현하였다. 연구자는 그리스도인에게 주어지는 고난은 인간의 힘으로 해결할 수 없으 며, 오직 예수께서 십자가에서 값없이 흘리신 보혈의 능력으로만 고난을 극복 할 수 있음을 나타내고자 하였으며 보혈은 속죄와 인간 구원의 능력, 그리고 치유의 능력이 있음을 직감적인 움직임으로 제시함으로써 아직 하나님을 만 나지 못한 대중들에게도 기독교 무용을 통해 하나님께 조금 더 가까이 만날 수 있는 새로운 복음의 길이 되었으면 하였고 이를 통하여 하나님의 나라가 확장되기를 기대해 본다.
