Abstract: This study is an investigation into the improvement of current early childhood education through the instruction of Korean painting, in the course of early childhood art education that can be said to be the cornerstone for art education, that human beings see throughout their life. The purpose of this study was to present early childhood art education as part of the plan to properly understand, succeed to and develop our traditional cultures from early childhood.

First, early childhood art education should be improved to include a diversity of educational contents for children sensitive to new environments and forms by departing from function-centered one and tailoring it to their developmental stage.
Second, in Korean painting expressed by children, the beauty of simplicity and the brushstroke of significance, characteristics of the Indian ink painting, found good expression, and Korean beauty due to the accent of lines was well expressed.
Third, this study provided children with an opportunity to get away from the fixed idea that the canvass should be filled up with colors like western painting and to allow them to have an understanding of the beauty of the blank space inherent in Korean painting and the painting itself.
Fourth, the result of analyzing children's works revealed that children perceived changes in the color of Indian ink in accordance with the dilution of water. This study came to assist children in engaging in creative activity by allowing them to understand the what could not be felt such as the effect of Indian ink running over the Chinese drawing paper, the absorbent power of the Indian ink and the like and inducing them to have curiosity about and interests in Korean painting.

Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to suggest an alternative idea about management system for military mental health through analysis for medical theory and policy. In the 21st century, the way of war was transferred from conventional military power to high technology military power after 9ㆍ11 terror in the United States.
The combat stress is a UK charity offering residential treatment to ex-servicemen and women suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other mental health issues. The Ex-Services Mental Welfare Society was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 just after the First World War when the effects of Shell Shock were becoming known. During the 1980s it became known as Combat Stress for public relations purposes although legally is still known by its original name.
The field of military mental health in Korea has not been remarkably developed because it was not considered important policy. But there are some military case that are related to the mental health of soldiers on which they are suffered from various traumas in recently.
For example, R.O.K.S Cheonan was sunk in the Yellow Sea in 2010 and 58 survivors are complaining of pain in the mental while at military hospital.
Therefore, the government of Korea and Ministry of National Defense should established a substantial policy for management of military mental health. This research suggest an action plan for developing the field of mental health as below,
Firstly, the identity of mental health should be established in the military field. Secondly, we will have a specialist facilities for military mental health and will be trying to recruit more professionals who was trained by the professional insititution of mental health. Finally, the military field and private sector should collaborate with each other throughout academic exchange, policy development as well as personnel exchange.
In conclusion, the armed forces of South Korea, to beyond the Korean peninsula to ensure world peace and security, should have a lot of interest in the mental health field to drive the field's cutting-edge science and technology to leap instantly to the strong armed forces based on science and technology in the near future.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to survey parents for their perception of participation in school administration as well as for their actual participation and thereby, explore some desirable ways to encourage them to participate in school administration and thereupon, suggest the effective ways to induce them to participate in school administration for development of school education.
For this purpose, relevant literature and preceding studies were reviewed and analyzed, and thereupon, a questionnaire survey was conducted for parents with their children attending elementary and middle schools in the metropolitan city Seoul.
The results of this study can be summarized as follows together with its suggestions;
First, it was found that parents were much less aware of educational systems and policies, particularly those related to educational autonomy, design of national or provincial systems and policies, participation in their implementations, etc. However, parents were highly aware of the problems involving the national educational system.
As it was, parents were less responsive to the management of their children's schools, perceiving that they were not effectively guided for their participation in school administration. All in all, parents were not positive towards their participation in school administration.
In order to enhance parents' poor perception of national education systems and policies, it is deemed necessary to improve systems and policies related to national and provincial educational autonomy and encourage parents to participate positively in the process of their improvement. In addition, it is also required to arrange diverse alternatives for effective applications of educational systems and policies to a variety of activities for school administration.
Second, although the absolute majority of the parents admitted the need for their participation in their children's school administration, their perceptions differed significantly depending on their academic backgrounds, living standards and districts. On the other hand, many parents had ever participated in school administration or were actually participating in it, but the level of participation differed among districts or depending on academic backgrounds and jobs. In short, perception almost agreed to actions. In addition, assuming that parents are much interested in the areas directly related to their children's education, it is essential to arrange diverse measures for their participation in school administration in consideration of the differences among districts, schools and their demographic variables, and further, implement the measures effectively with efficient facility and P.R plans.
Third, since parents want to participate more widely in such areas of school administration as educational planning, curriculum design and implementation but they feel that teachers' original authority such as teaching professionalism should be respected, it is necessary to design and implement some training programs to help teachers improve their professional school administration capacity meeting parents' expectations. Furthermore, it may well be desirable to encourage parents to be more concerned about school administration by providing them with information about school administration via Internet, meetings at the various time zones convenient to them or an organized community network centered about them or other easily accessible routes.
As the society develops, parents are more and more aware of education due to their higher academic background and financial ability with increasing leisure time. Thus, parents are more awakened of various areas of school administration, being more willing to participate in school administration, and therefore, they will request for specific programs or guidelines for their participation in school administration. In such circumstances, in order to encourage parents to participate more positively in wider areas of school administration, it is essential to support their participation systematically, providing for diverse opportunities for their participation, while rewarding them for such participation in a fair and substantial way. Then, they will be more encouraged to participate in school adminstration only to provide for a ground for our schools to effectively foster the able people required in the 21st century.
